Women’s Issues
Being a woman is difficult and exhausting. It is also rewarding.
We have endless amounts of empathy and compassion, along with the natural ability and desire to nurture people who are close to us. We can manage time and multi-task as if we had 8 arms and the ability to be 2 places at once. We are smart and beautiful. We manage A LOT (and it can get tiring).
Maybe you feel depleted, depressed, anxious, angry, overwhelmed, stressed out, and unmotivated. You are probably desperate for some “me time,” or maybe looking for meaning in your life, wishing you had quality time with your husband/partner, or wondering if you are screwing up your children.
You are not alone. Most women have these thoughts and feelings.
Friends & family can help you through the hard times and celebrate with you in the good times. Sometimes, though, you need an objective opinion, some expertise, or someone who you know will not and cannot tell anyone about your thoughts and feelings, or what’s going on in your life.
That’s where I come in as a counselor.
My job is to help you sift through the clutter in your mind and get to the root of what is going on, and to offer some guidance and strategies to help you deal with and get through the rough times.
I want to help you find peace amidst the chaos and to feel more often than not that, “Life is Good.”
Some of the things we can work on are:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Grief
- Relationship Conflict
- Life Changes
- Career Changes
- Finding Balance Again
- Finding Yourself Again
